3-betting with a hand that is on the crappy side of random isn't standard. Especially considering the fact that one opponent is essentially all-in and you therefore have zero fold equity.

yesterday at 10-20 some jackass 3bet me from the bb with j2o and flopped trips against my aces. clearly, this forum is missing out on the true value of this hand and we need to incorporate it into our hand selection better.

My bad, I think I was just confused by the whole thread. Presumably the original post was also just for laffs. Personally, when it comes to poker, I'm all business, all the time, at the tables or away. So I can't say I approve of this kind of shenanigans. At the same time, I don't want to be a stick in the mud, so I'll just step aside while you pranksters carry on with your youthful high-jinx, huzzah!
