I'm your opp in the hand fwiw. Your play is fine. Stop n go here is a good play

push or fold preflop, the stopngo doesn't accomplish anything
you must be hoping he doesn't have a higher pair, since you're pushing on essentially a rag flop, so since he raised utg he almost definitely has an a... do you check/fold to an a on the flop? Better to go allin, all you're doing is letting him get away from an a/x if he misses the flop, whereas he calls if he hits and takes all your money. The only way it'd make sense is if you were planning on folding to an a on the flop, but I don't think it's a good play to hope he misses an a and his probable J Q or K kicker. I'd probably fold here to an utg raise, but if not, you might as well push.

I like a stop-n-go MUCH better than just pushing pre-flop. If you're the villian in this scenario, what hands do you fold to a pre-flop BB push?
