89s, getting low, push or wait?

Empire 25+2.
I just started playing MTTs and have been having success getting into the money (6 of 8 so far with 1 bust 2 positions out of the money). However I'm having trouble getting to the final table.

At this point, we are down to 19 of 220. 11-20 all pay the same, so I'm thinking that I need to gamble.

Is this a good push with less than 6x the BB? Or would you wait and hope? What hands should I be looking to push in this spot?

this is fine, you might as well get your stack in the middle often when you're shortstacked and far from the next payout, its far preferable than praying you get dealt something strong, then praying you get called, then praying you win the hand.

You don't need much to open push with when you have 6xBB, even without an ante. 98s will do fine. Sorry you busted out.
