First Post .. SNG Tracker Question

Hey all,

Just wondering about the SNG Tracker software.

The software reports that I have a 24% ROI. Now, does this factor in the rake?

For example, I play $11 sngs. If my Profit/Tourney is $2.50, do I have to subtract $1 for rake? Or is that already done and that is my actualy profit with rake included into the calculations?

Thanks Alot,
TheWeakling

P.S. This is a GREAT forum, I plan to take part in the discussions you have here to improve my game. Thanks!

As a nice little excercise, why don't you pull out a calculator and figure it out each way. Which ever way matches the SNG tracker will be your answer.

That's pretty obvious, normally on the bubble you'd expect to go on to be ITM 75% of the time, whatever your bubble % actually is, it takes 75 from it and there is your +/-.

Mine's about +4%.

Rake (or 'vig', as it's called in SNG-T) is taken in to account in these calculations.

This should be quite clear if you look at the overview stats:

Buyins: x
Vig: y
Total entries: x + y
Prizes: z
Profit: z - (x+y)
$/tourney: profit / tournies
