I also want to know if Ken Warren's stud book is any good or if it is as bad as his omaha book?

I honestly don't know, as I long since stopped even glancing at anything written by Warren.

I've read one Ken Warren book (hold'em) and that's enough to know that no book from that writer can be any good. Very bad. Very weak tight. Always expecting the worst and such. Just don't buy it, it's such a waste.

One quote in his hold'em book is something like ".. normally you would raise with AA, KK or QQ, but recent computer analysis has shown this to not be optimal..." yikes!!!

It actually says that about hands like AK.

Anyways, I would avoid the book, though I think he occasionally has a good sentence or two every thirty pages. It usually has nothing to do with strategy though, instead it's something like "even champions like Johnny Chan get the same good and bad cards you do."
