JJ in multiway capped pf

Only read I have is that MP2 is tight and somewhat passive. Should I have bet out? Should I continue?

UTG checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks, Button bets, UTG calls, Hero ?

I think betting the flop is better than checking. It would be very sad to see Button check behind with AKs. I guess I would call the bet, and lead on the turn as long as it's not an ace or king.

Grunching.

I would have bet. Given that you checked, I would check raise. I want to know if AA/KK/QQ are out there. If you are 3-bet, you most likely have your answer.

Hero raises.

so betting is better because button might check through? My plan was to c/r to try and get MP2 out and gain control of that hand. If I bet out and button raises, what do I do then?

3-bet.

I would probably call a raise from the button, since a cap won't drive anyone out who has called already (and capping for value is reeeeeeeaaaaaly thin). Then it depends on what card falls on the turn, which players are still around, how big the pot is and so on.

<edit>
Oops, misread your question, thought you asked about what to do if button raised your checkraise. But if you bet out and button raises, I would 3-bet here too.
</edit>

I would lead the flop, let button raise if that's what he does, that will get rid of some of the others. I would then call buttons raise and lead the turn, unless it was an A or K.

ok so MP2 folded like a good boy. everyone else called, successful c/r. I obv lead turn, everyone called. What do i do if button raises on turn???? Ok, river, do I value bet again?

I'd either bet the flop or c/r the button to isolate. Checking through would suck for you because you are not drawing.
