Would you think about calling here?

Party Poker (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 call.. Hero raises to $1...1 fold...SB calls....BB folds...limper folds.

HU on flop, pot = $2.50

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.40, SB check-raises all-in for $13.97 total....

Hero ? (has Villain covered)

I'm having trouble putting this guy on much besides a straight draw. Maybe an underpair? But TT is unlikely, and would he really do this with 2 overs to his pair?

The limit is SUPER-BABY, i.e. $0.10/$0.25.

EZ fold. Just wait for a better spot.

Are you by any chance a SnG player?

I can't see any reason why you'd ever call here. Am I missing something?

He checkraises you all-in, you have nothing ... and you want to call ?
It dont much matter what limit it is or if he has a str8 draw or not - you cant call.

Well, if he has a set, a straight draw, or 88, I'm still 41%. And I'd be surprised if he had a set. It doesn't seem like a top pair or overcard bet to me, either. I mean...I folded. But I didn't feel that happy about it.

Just typical SnG thinking, moves like these are very rarely bluffs in NL cash games unlike SnGs where they often are.

What do you mean it doesn't matter if he has a straight draw or not? He shows you QT and you fold?
My point is just that I don't see many hands besides a straight draw playing it this way. What other hands do you think would check-raise all-in for a substantial overbet on this rainbow flop?

You should feel very happy about it. You're definitely beat here. You have Ace high
