77 flops set. Ugly river.

Villian(covers) is 25/6 after 100 hands.

Hero ($47) limps UTG w/ 7 7, MP2 limps, villian in CO makes it $2, hero calls, MP2, calls,

Flop ($6) A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)

Hero bets $4, MP2 folds, villian calls

Turn ($14) Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Hero bets $10, villian calls

River ($34) 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Hero has $31 left and does what? Block-fold? Check-fold? Check-call? Push?

Bet $20 and call a push. He has AQ/AK as often as he has a flush here, methinks. Also check raise flop is goot so that you have 2/3 turn and 1/2 pot river for easy stackage.

Re: 77 flops set. Ugly river.

I like leading sets into PFR, especially on A-high boards. My usual line with a set goes: lead, call raise, check-raise turn. I especially like this on 2-suited flops where I can easily represant a draw.

Fair enough. I'm still trying somehow to get all in on this river.

I say push, I don't think he's letting go very often. I would be very surprised if he has the flush given his raise pf, K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] maybe. I think you'll see AK/AQ more often though. JMO

Its doubtful that he has a flush. Value bet whatever you think he will call and call any raise.

Well, I hated the way I played the river, but it's always comfortable to get the "right answer" from these boards . I bet $15, he pushed, I called. He had Kc Jc and MHING.

Back to weak-tight.

EDIT: He had Kd Jd. I must begin to read my own posts

How is your hand no good? He had KJ of diamonds?
