A7s multiple questions

BB is solid,
UTG is on the loose/passive side
CO and Button haven't made an impression but don't seem very agressive.

Party 5/10 6-max (6 handed)

Hero is in the SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Preflop: UTG calls, MP folds, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, BB checks.

Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, BB calls.

Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

What is your plan?

Bet and let the fishes call you down with small pairs or gutshots. Very unlikely a "solid" BB bluffs into this many players if that's your idea.

Also I usually bet these flops. Figure the equity is good enough + sometimes you can win it right there + sometimes you have the best hand.

Re: A7s multiple questions

I think that the best possible line would be to bet and fold to a raise. If you were planning on check raising you are building too big of a pot with a hand that isn't that strong, and you can't check raise to isolate because of the position of the aggressor. Consequently, checking and folding is to weak. Therefore, I believe the best line is to bet out and fold to any more action.

fold to raise bad. gutshot plus trips plus better two pair good.

EDIT: also why can't we check call? personally I bet, but it seems you left check-calling out of the equation

When I said checking and folding is too weak I was implying that checking and calling might be ok as well.

isnt the choice between cring and betting out?
i dont know why someone offered check/calling,

anyway id bet out,as too much you see flop bettors checking the turn when an overcard falls, dont want to let them see the turn for free,
if riased you call of course

That's what I was thinking.....either lead the turn or c/r the turn. My decision was to lead the turn... because I don't want the turn checked through or givin out freebs. And cr'ing is a little aggressive, but if so not by much. Plus if you are raise on your lead, you quite potentially have megaouts..... but I'd be lying to you if I did not say that Intended on showing this puppy down unimproved baring multiple raises (However that maybe the 10/20 in me talking).

Good to have ya back Rubes... both you and Dan.
