6 max versus full ring - Wheres the money?

Wheres the most profit per hour? 5/6 max tables or full ring tables.

Consider every aspect, hands per hour, rake back, number of tables you can play at a time and any other factors.

Also what other advantages and disadvantages are there to consider? For example downswings are expected to be higher at 6 max.

Feel free to comment on whether you exclusively play 6 max or why you do both.

Who plays 6 max and full at same time, tables of each both open.

Is there a disadvantage to sticking to one type of game?

if you wanted to find out how many americans are against gun control, would you go to an NRA meeting and ask around?

NRA = National Rifle Association (please correct me if I'm wrong)

You can definitely make more money at 6-max. With more hands per hour and decisions per hour, losing players will lose money faster here than they would at a ring game.

One mitigating factor in favor of the ring game profits is that they are much easier to multi-table. You would likely make more money 8 tabling the the full ring than you would 4 tabling the 6 max.

i tried a stint at 6-max and didn't fare so well. right now i'm having good success at full ring and don't feel like going on another big losing streak attempted to play 6-max. on top of that, i can't even remember anything i learned from my stint at 6-max a few months back.
