Easier to win, or more profitable in general?

The only thing I am concerned about is the bottom line. Are they more profitable?

I ask, because I usually play 10/20 6 max and with Empire's new 100 +1 happy hour I thought that would be a change of pace and a great +EV opportunity so I signed up for that and the 15K guarranteed last night. I perused a little of the basic literature for MTT's early in my poker career and played a few cheap ones ($25 max). I did fairly well at them but the time required seemed monstrous for the return. So, I went to short handed and did not look back until last night.

Overall, the play seemed pretty bad in general. I think you could probably fold your way to the money in either. Anyway, I made it midway through the final table in the $15K. So, I was basically wondering if I was just up against scrubs (sorta kidding).

If you regularly play 10/20 6-max (I am assuming limit?) I can say with a high degree of certainty that were one of the most skilled poker players in the MTT. Empire is insanely weak compared to other sites I have seen (except maybe pokerroom).

I have played against a few people who won seats through empire, and was not overly impressed with any of them.

10/20 is going to be more profitable than a $100 tournament, no matter what the competition is.
