Dear BigSteve,

Why is it the last few times ive gone into gay bars, ive been hit on by more women than men? Granted, these bars were become more and more mainstream as the truly Queer atmosphere moved to bars even more underground, but still it seemed odd. I mean, im assuming that just based on numbers alone, i should be hit on by way more guys, especially since the women there seemed to find me at least somewhat suitable. Do you think this could have anything to do with men having a higher tolerance for alcohol? Thanks.

I like to think I'm metrosexual, but I'm probably not even close to it. I just give a crap about what I look like.

That said, I would check out a store like Urban Outfitters. I think Ralph Lauren/Polo also makes some not so gay stuff. I think staying away from Italian designers and lines like Guess? would be the way to go. I bought some Guess button downs and I think they're super metro, but I like it that way.

Anyway, just stay away from frilly/pink [censored] and I think you'll be ok in not being too metro.

EDIT: The more I think about it, Urban Outfitters and the like would be perfect for what you want. Yeah. I just went there for the first time this past weekend and I think it's what you're looking for.

I'm thinking about moving to the rural South. Where are the best places to meet loose hot women, considering (1) family reunions are out of the question -- I won't be related to anyone, and (2) I'll be spending most of my time playing poker?
