6max NL Players - What hands do you play in the SB?

Lets assume there are the usual 1-2 limpers and the BB is not overly aggressive (unlikely to raise your completion of the SB).

Which hands do you complete, fold, or raise?

I play INCREDIBLY tight in the SB. It is just WAY too easy to flop marginal hands and then you are playing them OOP and playing marginal hands is where a lot of SH action is but they are next to impossible to play them OOP. So, I basically don't raise anything except for AA-TT/AK, sometimes AQ and I hardly complete anything except for AQ is I'm not raising, KQ, QJs, AJs. Sometimes QJo and AJo, sometimes not. I HATE the SB. The discount is hardly worth anything in comparison with the position, IMO.

I raise basically the same hands you do. However I complete alot more, probably too much (VP$P 57%). But I have been slightly profitable in that posistion over 20k hands.

Slightly profitable from SB is a good sign, I always though that it was almost impossible to be profitable in SB with a large enough sample..but I may have heard this from limit.

The correct answer is that it depends on how poorly your opponents play.

Well this is lower limits Party, so playing more hands in the SB is fine?

Not completing a ton of hands from the SB in a game with a passive BB is a huge mistake. If you cannot complete T8s from the SB in that game, then you need to work on post-flop play.

Dead on. The better you are at playing post flop, the more hands you can complete in the SB. And if you are playing very tight in the SB, you probably need to work on your post flop play.

My stats are 52% VPIP, and I have lost a net total of 35 cents in the SB. Oh god, 35 cents! Very small sample size, as I just recently got PT. 339 hands at NL100 6max.

Out of about 24k hands at NL50 and NL25 I have a net profit of $115. Heck yah!

Any PP, SC if opponents are passive postflop and will let me see many streets for cheap (which may or may not be the case). QQ+ I always raise, AK/JJ/TT I raise most of the time but not always, AQ/AJ/KQs/KJs/QJs I generally complete but with the last few I tend to check/call top pair which isn't very good I don't think.
