Big Slick UTG

Always tough OOP but these make it so much harder. Only played 6 hands with the villain so no real read.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter

Button ($94.75)
SB ($139.87)
BB ($41.85)
Hero ($48.25)
UTG+1 ($85.45)
UTG+2 ($48.75)
Villian ($65.45)
MP2 ($46.25)
MP3 ($45.63)
CO ($58.15)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Villian calls $2, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP3 calls $2, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>.

Flop: ($6.75) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Villian raises to $10</font>, MP3 calls $10, Hero calls $6.

Turn: ($36.75) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, Villian bets $53.45 (All-In), MP3 folds, Hero calls $36.25 (All-In).

River: ($126.45) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 2 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $126.45

Before I called the river I asked him if he had a set, he didn't answer. I'll post the results in a few but what do you guys think? I kept thinking that a set would smooth call the flop even with the flush draw out there. I seriously debated folding the flop reraise but then when the K popped on the turn I wasn't laying it down....too loose? Is anyone else getting away from this?

Sorry, should have posted the results since I'm obviously not posting this if I won.

He shows 33 for a set.

Re: Big Slick UTG

If you're TPTK, and won't raise a flop bet, why raise a turn bet when he should slow down from the last street.
He probably has a set, maybe a straight... Only way this line makes sense is if you put him on a str8 flush draw and the turn gave extra info... But why go allin if he missed on the turn... If he has set or str8, you have only 4 outs on the river.
With no reads, i'm folding... and i'm LAG

maybe its me but I'm folding after a flop raise and a call.

they can't both be semibluffing/overcalling with flush draw.
