First hand don't check flop, second hand good.

Re: AA twice in about 10 hands(low content)

That seems to be a fairly safe flop for me. If my read is correct villian is drawing to 2 outs, I have him on a pair smaller than KK or AK,AQ,KQ. Why not check it through?

were you trying to represent KK on the river?

Re: AA twice in about 10 hands(low content)

No, the turn defined villians hand very well for me and also defined what he thought I had. The river was all about extracting as much as possible.

I like the flop check in the first hand, but only because the board paired small, protecting you from a two pair drawout.

If your opponent has KK or QQ, the money is going to go to the middle unless you have a superstrong read. The flop check convinces him that you have AK and he'll push when he has the other two hands that you're actually a huge favorite over (AK, KQ).
