book with thorough discussion of EV

I'm looking for a book with a thorough discussion of Ev. Any suggestions?

Any probability textbook.

~The Theory of Poker~ also deals with EV thoroughly.

Which of these is a good answer to your question depends on the sense in which you mean "thorough."

EV stands for expected value.

Weighing the Odds in Hold'em Poker included a small chapter devoted to EV. It's a very good book.

You can probably find a good definition here on the forums if you try a search or two.

I'd even go further than the previous poster. Arguably, this topic is the central theme of King Yao's book. I think it's a good place to go for this information.

Thanks for the advice. I was actually looking for poker books, not statistics textbooks.

I just ordered Theory of Poker, King Yao's book, and HOH 2 (already read 1). Thanks for the help guys.
