Mid limit games better during WSOP?

Hey guys, I know a lot of yall just got back from Vegas and I'm looking for a reason to blow my recent blackjack winnings from a Louisianna trip that got the casino blood flowing. How good would you say the 10-20, 15-30 games are at the Vegas casinos during the WSOP compared to say Party at the same stakes? I don't have a problem playing lower since it's vacation, and I'll be boozing, but those would be my prefereed limits, with NL and maybe Omaha mixed in. I was looking at staying at the MGM since it sounds like a lot of people had a good time there and it's reasonably priced/located. I'm sure I'll make the rounds to the other rooms too though.

Thanks

I'm going to the WSOP for the first time so I don't 'officially' know.....but I would be really surprised if you found a 10/20 game in Vegas EVER that isn't better than your average 10/20 game on Party.

Live play tables are generally much looser than the same limit online...even at Party.

During the WSOP I'm guessing the games are a little looser.
This was the trend I noticed from my ring-game play the two other times I have played in the vicinity of a major tournament (the WPO in Tunica...and the PPM cruise).
Just because they are playing in a major tournament...or are just in town for one...doesn't make them a good player.

I have found the ring-games to be quite good during these periods.
There are lots of people who are there to gamble it up....and/or make back as quickly as possible what they lost in their tourney entry-fee.

I talked with one guy in line for a single-table satellite at the WPO who had a plan of winning about $1k per day playing 10/20 'because he was so good at it and it was so easy to win that much each day' to cover his tournament entry-fee's, etc.
He was an absolutely TERRIBLE player.
I told him it sounded like a pretty good plan to me.

FWIW - I also plan to hang out at the 10/20 or 15/30 games quite a bit during my stay in Vegas.

Yeah the way I'm rationalizing it is that the games during the week should be alot better than if I was going to wait and "plan" the trip and go in August or something. I think I've talked myself into it.
