BB is 40/30/1.6 and UTG is 73/4/1.1. I was lost the entire hand and almost folded on the turn, but then on the river I felt that I had to call due to the size of the pot. Should I have folded somewhere in this hand and if so, where?

BB must certainly have a set. I fold this on the turn, i think. I *hope* you would have folded the river had BB not been short stacked, since it was going to get 3bet by him, FWIW.
