Milo\'s first poll: Dr. Al, Ed and other authors in red, please.

I see justice has finally been done, and another moderator has taken it upon himself to put Ed Miller's name in red.

Since 2+2 is a publishing company, it would seem in their financial best interests to put their author's names in red or some other color. It shows the readers that the authors of their books actually come here, answer questions, and interact with ordinary shmoes like us. This would seem likely to drive both traffic and book sales. So how 'bout making Al, Ed and other published authors red permanently?

I don't see why it wouldn't be permanent.

Ed is in red now, but only because another moderator has been disobedient, and abused his Superpowers. I'm hoping that Ed's redness will remain despite the crimes of the other moderator, and that Dr. Al will be reddened as well.

Possibly a ratings system could be designed where they are assigned a color based on book sales

I don't think that's fair. Different topics will have different sales based on game popularity (for example). I'm sure many more people will buy HOH than a book on stud and neither of the authors should be discriminated on that account.
