What is a reasonable profit expectation for $1/2 nl holdem?

Kinda feel like I'm in a bubble playing online. I have no idea whether I'm doing well or not. Just curious as to how much a reasonably good player could hope to make playing $1/2 nl holdem? Day, week, month??

anywhere from, say losing $500 per month, to winning tens of thousands per month.

seriously, though...welcome to the forumns! to get a decent answer and not get flamed, you need to tell how many hands per month that you play, and your win rate per 100 hands. and if you know the answer to those questions, you don't need to post this in the first place.

also, what is "reasonably good" in your opinion? what would a reasonably good player earn in terms of big bets per 100 hands?

don't be a lazy ass.

cheers!

GOOD players will win more in NL then Good players in Limit. However, Average WINNING players will win less in NL then Average WINNING in Limit.

The question is - what is good and what is average. I'm a limit player and I consider myself and AVERAGE WINNER. and win 2.5BB/100 over a year of ups and downs.

I think conventional wisdom is that doing well in NL is something like 10 big blinds per 100 I think. I don't have enough hands to know what my true winrate is right now but it's over 10 big blinds per 100.

I average $2K per month playing online and live 1/2 NL. I play about 65 to 75 hours per month. Just passed $11K for since January 1st of this year. I will have to look but I think it is around 12BB/100 two tabling.

How much would 10/100 be equal to in /hour?

depends on number of hands played

If your averaging 50 hands per hour then it would be about 5 BB/Hr

Through 1750 hands, I am currently at 3.44bb/100, which I think is low. My VPIP is 20%, PFR is 7.2%. I'm up $240.

I think I am playing too high a limit, and if you're asking this question, you might not be putting your best foot forward by jumping into the $1/$2 NL. It's a tough game. I think I'm gonna drop down to the $50 max ($.25/$.50) and see if I can't get my BB/100 up.
