cheap PP tourneys

just wondering if anyone plays in the PP $1 and $2 tourneys that are held each night. i played in one of the $2s the other night and placed 131 out of 2000. the payouts are insignificant unless you make it to the final table, but i still find these to be fun.

just wondering who else plays in these. i'm playing in the $2 that's running now... 1141 left. say hey if you run across me in one of these.

yea, i've played a couple of them. I got sucked out early in the 2 i played. I'm playing the one that starts in an hour. And yea, i think they're tons of fun. It really helps you work on your MTT skills for cheap.

Good move by PP.

(so when will they start heads up tournaments?!?)

I was actually schocked to find out party adds no rake to these. And they add 500 to the prize pool. I mean, this is party poker we are talking about!

yea, what the hell are they thinking?

Do they want us to enjoy ourselves or something?

Played one last week. 92/1375. Kind of good for working on my game, but plays even worse than a $5/1. Far more players eliminated in the first hour than the normal 52%.

I'd been stupid and been playing out of my bankroll for Multis (I keep a seperate BR for SNGs) because I'm buying a house and wanted a quick score. But I think I'll play a few more of these to rebuild the confidence.

I really like these tournaments for a few reasons:
They're cheap, they're fun, good practice and getting your aces cracked doesn't hurt so bad
