A question about Casino employees.

I've recently debated a move down to Atlantic City and one of my options as far as work is the ever popular poker dealer.

My main question is, Do most casinos offer benefit plans? I'm paying out the ass for health insurance right now (I might be leaving my current job because I don't have benefits) and i'm ideally looking for a job that would cover that.

One of the dealers at the Borg mentioned they had to pay for their benefits (as part time employees)

Re: A question about Casino employees.

if last year's strike was any indication, casino gaming employees (dealers, cashiers, floor) are NOT union and may not necessarily receive benefits with their salary built-in.

these are unionized casino/hotel jobs, presumably with benefits:
cocktail servers
restaurant staff
baggage valets/bell captain/doorman
housekeeping
