I think I needed to raise the turn and raise the river. What would I have done if I had raised the turn and he 3 bet?

Cap the turn if he 3bets. Raise the river and call a 3bet.

With seven players, two of which have already folded, I don't know if I like limping so much.

Er, did you see the FD complete? I like the turn raise but if he 3-bets then go in to call-downmode (assuming you don't fill up on the river)

I think a turn raise is still in order.

Blind could have turned two pair, or flopped two pair.

I'm not willing to give credit to a straight or flush and not try and extract a bit more out of my set.

If he three bets you on the turn, fill on the river.
