Brief Technical Question

Hi Guys,

I'll post this down in the Software section if no one knows the answer.

When I open Pokertracker and start the Auto-Import, the first import finds 80 files (it seems to grow each night). Subsequent imports are fine. They have a couple files and import properly. What adjustment do I need to make on PT to get rid of these hands?

Thanks,

Dave

There should be a box on the auto import window that says move process hand histories. Just check it and select a folder. If that isn't working I'd post on the PT boards. If all else fails just go into C:\program files\party poker\ and delete all the random numbered files and all the .txt files in the hand history folder.

Thanks Matt,

I've done the "move hands part" so I think I'll have to manually go in and get rid of them. I think they are old hands that didn't have a play to go when I switched back and forth between party and UB.

Dave,

It sounds like you have the problem solved but just to clarify.

PTO will only move hand histories that it imports something from. That means if there are a bunch of hand histories sitting in the party directory (C:\Program Files\Party Poker\Hands\YOURHANDLE\ I think) that have already been imported PTO will not move them. In that case you have to delete them manually. Then check the "move hand histories" checkbox and you shouldn't have this problem any more.

Good Luck.
