In my opinion this topic is pretty much unexplored in print. It's often mentioned as important when your opponents become good, but rarely explained in more than a sentence or two.

HOH mentioned this to some degree, countering aggressive players with the rope a dope and the hammer and using your watch to randomize the size of your raises.
