Re: QQ and a big pot

PF: Fine.

Flop: Fine.

Turn: What are you putting MP3 on that you just call this turn raise? Are you thinking AA or KK (then why doesn't he 3-bet the flop?)? Are you thinking 88 or another set (then why does he cap preflop?)? I have to 3-bet this turn, call a cap, and then call a safe river card.

UTG+1 is getting like 19:2 to call your 3-bet, so a legitimate draw is not going anywhere. But your equity is huge here, and if he (or UTG+2) has a pair (either pocket or otherwise) you need to make it incorrect for him to proceed.

River: The Kd is unfortunate, and you're almost certainly beat by one or the other opponent, but man, is it ever hard to find a fold in a 25BB pot.

EDIT: fixed a mistake.

Yeh flop and preflop are standard. Turn seems fine i think with MP3's stop and go i'd put him on an overpair AA or KK and has put you on an overpair also but defo call with the amount in the pot. River seems fine to me i'd fold also in that situation. Personally i would of played the hand the same.

three bet the turn and check call the river.

there are lots of things that mp3 can be raising for value here 3 oppenents and river bet implied odds if he's a bit maniacal. you want to get rid of the players in between.

doubt that your opponent was value raising though. probably something like TT or JJ and we just hope it's not 88.

I don't like the flop check raise. Its not protecting your hand as the others have odds to chase lots of hands.

I think I call this flop and c/r the turn on a safe card

I'm thinking AK when I made the turn bet (couldn't count on him to help me with another C/R). His turn raise + remembering him capping preflop made think he had a big pocket or 88 so I froze up
