Pt Edawrd Chartiy Casino (SARNIA)- A flush beats a fullhouse?
 

Hi,

I heard this happened 6-2-05, I wonder if anyone can confirm or comment.

Long Story Short:

HERO: JxTx
WOMAN: A7h

BOARD Jh Jd Th 8h 4c

On showdown dealer tries to push pot to the flush, Hero says no, I have a full house I win (hand is protected still). Dealer says no an ace high flush beats a full house. Floor is called and AGREES! pot is awarded to the flush, Hero goes off the handle and get 86'ed. Half the poker room cashes out and leaves.

Was anyone there?

Seriously, I'd never play there again, and if I was Hero, I'd have asked the woman to give me what's mine, then cashed out and took a swing at the floor on the way out.

I did "hear" the story for a good source but I would like to hear from someone that was there. If this turns out to be true I won't want to ever play there again.

A-high flush doesn't beat a FH? Are you sure?

good point... i misread and thought the poster was claiming to be there when it happened.
