Big draw in the blinds

party 5/10 6 man

Im in the sb with 1800, bb has 1400. He is decent and knows I am OK I think. All folds to us and i make it 40 with 6c9c, which is my standard raise. He calls. I have been raising his bind when its folded to us very often.

Flop is 7c7s5c.

I bet 65, he raises to 125, I make it 300 and he calls.

Now im quite certain he has a 7 and im praying for a club.

The turn is a Jh.

I bet out 300, and he just calls exactley as I hoped...he has me on an overpair, but knows I will fold if he raises. Also my hand is perfectly desgised that if I hit I bust him for the 800 he has left. This also prevents him from poting it if I check. Is thiis though proscess ok?

The river banks, I check, he pushes I fold.

Tnx alot

I normally call the flop raise, check/call the turn if he will pay off if i hit. I think he has a 7 too, I don't know which way makes more money, but your way seems to spew chips...

Re: Big draw in the blinds

On the flop Im thinking this:

He know I dont need much to raise his blind and also that im going to bet just about anyflop, so I figure his range of raiseing hands can be quite high. If I go over now I'm really representing something and have a good chance of taking it down. On the turn I'm trying to get to the river cheeply.
