What's the texture of the table, who are the players? It's a satellite, how many places get a seat? Not nearly enough information to give you any suggestion

the table is quite tight, as you would expect, top 5 paid entry. now with eight left am i trying to pick up small pots or just chill to make top 5, am I wrong in thinking I'd be practically guaranteed a seat if i sat back for the rest and waited for AK AA-TT etc.

You can't sit back and expect to coast into a seat yet. Continue to steal when it's folded to you, pick on the smaller stacks, and watch closely to see who has tightened up the most on the bubble.

Fold everything up to and including queens, you're basically in.

edit: also, show your hands after every raise. If you push kings you don't want to be called by AQ.
