VIP club as disincentive to play more......
 

I've gotten to the point where it is not worth my
time to play more than 100 or so hands a day at
Empire.

Why?

Playing ring games, the more you play the less each
hand is worth towards getting VIP status.

I get RB elsewhere.

I can clear bonus playing 100 or so hands a day.

The system, as set up, is actually a disincentive
to play more than 100-150 hands/day, if maximizing
the effect of each hand towards VIP is important.

I do not play high enough to generate enough rake
for them to 'bump' me prematurely.

No kidding. Whoever heard of square roots being used to determine bonus points.
