Our man is the 2nd largest stack with 8 to go. Stacks are very similar at this point. Ouch, Sirio just lost a coin flip 33 vs A5s to put him down to 14K and make him THE short stack. First is 12K, all players have made about 1K for getting this far.

GL, sirio.

out in 8th as his AI PF with 66 is called and beaten by AJo. Congrats, and tough luck, man.

tough break man. Sorry you didn't follow youe 1st instinct and fold those 33's. Not sure with your stck I like the play but would be curious to hear other opinions. Might be a good hand to post.

Nice job though getting to the FT.

I'd believe you are ahead here too, but why not chk/rz? Is there any reason to believe he wouldn't bet?

Re: Final Table Stars NL $300+20

If you're willing to push this flop I would just push preflop. The only reason I wouldn't push preflop is if I was afraid that the UTG raise was likely to mean a big pair.

Re: Final Table Stars NL $300+20

Take in account that he raises 4x UTG and the table was willing to call all ins a little too much.

this is a particularily good flop for our hero. There are many flops he could safely chk/fold. Pushing back at a UTG raise with 33 from the BB isn't nearly as sound a play as pushing this flop after calling PF.
