Yeah, I fold to the push, but I would have also bet less on the flop (maybe 1/2 pot).

My thoughts exactly. Part of the reason for betting into him is to find out if he has an ace, so why risk 300 when you can find out for 150. If he doesn't have you beat(he's drawing) the 150 would still give him improper odds to call.

i'd probably lay it down if raised, but i only would bet a lil over half the pot to save chips....

bad spot.

I agree with others that you should have made a smaller flop bet, but you have to be careful not to make it too small -- you want to get someone with a weaker ace to fold. I would bet at least 200, and probably 225. That's what I would bet if I had AK, which is what I want to represent here.

I would bet less, and there is close to ZERO chance you can get a weaker ace to fold this flop. If they are going to call 120 preflop with a weak ace, they are putting all their chips in when their ace comes.

agreed 100%

and I would have probably bet even less than half the pot. I would have bet 1/3rd of the pot to find out where you stand.

I'de check. Chances are that if he doesn't have the A he will be too scared to bet anyway which will allow me to bet out on the turn and take it down. When I have QQ I am also much more scared of an A on the flop than a K
