BB - to protect, or not to protect

Here are my thoughts...

Bigstack is likely just exerting pressure here. Furthermore, I'm aware that I have a very good table image.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) converter

MP2 (t1340)
CO (t1045)
Button (t2120)
SB (t2020)
Hero (t1190)
UTG (t2040)
MP1 (t245)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to t200</font>, <font color="red"> Hero is allin </font>, SB folds

Final Pot: t300

as long as I don't have a read otherwise I would do the same.

Absent a solid read, I think your risk/reward ratio sucks here. I may be biased because everytime I try that I get shown a monster...

Frankly, I'd rather call and try to win the blinds later on in the hand.

*If* I didn't just fold pre-flop.

Wouldn't that be tough to do considering he is first to act in all betting rounds.. Well maybe not tough, just ballsy.

I think I'd fold this for now. Plenty of time IMO.

But pushing definitely has it's merits.
