AT in SB

Live 3/6...

I'm in SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

7 to the flop - SB, BB, and 5 limpers

Flop is 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Pretty loose table - I'm sure I can get a check raise in - and likely spot from a LP player - which would let me protct the hand.

So I check, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets and 3 players call.

Now just BB and UTG between me and bettor. Still worth the raise here even though really only can knock out 2 players max?

I lead this out. No one raised PF, so its a tough assumption that someone in LP is going to bet.

I would either call the flop, and lead a brick on the turn, hoping UTG+1 raises and gets it HU, or go through w/ the c/r. The c/r gives everyone pretty good odds from there on out to draw on you, and you want to eliminate players, not give them odds to draw.

I think that if you have no real idea where the action will come from, and that is true when you have 7 limpers, you may as well bet out, and then go from there.

I think trying to checkraise is an unmerited fancy play here.
