Question re: Outs

My hand is 3 spade-3 diamond. Flop is 3 heart-T club-9 diamond.
How does this count up to 10 outs (toward a full house or better)? I only count 7 outs.
Apologize for such a simple question-Thanks for any help.

Re: Question re: Outs

You can also make a full house with, for example, king on turn then a king on river(or any other 2 cards of same rank). Not really sure how this adds to 3 more outs - but assuming you are referencing something - must have to do with number of outs and discounting outs, etc. I am sure someone with more knowledge can explain further. For now though, you can see how there are more than 7 outs.

Re: Question re: Outs

It's 7 outs for the turn, but if you don't get the fullhouse or 4 of a kind on the turn, you will then have 10 outs for the river.

You have 33, and the flop is 3T9, and, as you note, you have 7 outs (one 3, three Ts, three 9s,).

If the turn is not a 3, T, or 9, you will have 3 more outs (the 3 cards that pair that card).

So, if the turn is a King, you can make a full house or quads on the river with:

1 three
3 tens
3 nines
3 kings
-------
10 outs

You have 7 outs on the turn. If you miss on the turn, you pick up an additional 3 outs (10 on the river)

Re: Question re: Outs

although if you need outs on that flop, you're probably drawing to one out for the rest of the hand.

Thanks to all for answer to outs question. I am finding that counting outs properly is very important in poker - how can you figure odds without knowing how many outs you have? No way......
