100BB downswings, how often?

Playing 5/10 6-max for the last month and a half... I've had a separate -90BB, -120BB, and a -100BB in the last 2 weeks? That said, I'm actually up just a little bit for this period of time, so I'm not tripping out too hard. But, I'm just wondering if I can expect this crap very often, or is this abnormal?

Edit: I posted this here cuz I've heard this is the forum to bitch and moan. I'm not trying to complain really in this post either, but I still decided to post here.

Once a [censored] month. It seems anyway. 50-100BB definetly once a month.

I am currently in the midst of a 150BB swing. Thinking back, I have had three 100BB swings since January. And several 50-75 BB swings.

I am probably about as average as they come on this site.

It really depends on how good you are. If you can win 3BB/100 you will experience -100BB swings much less frequently than if you only iwn 1BB/100.

This is insane. Let me take through my last 10 days.

-90 BB
+70 BB
-120 BB
+240 BB (pretty steadily over several days)
-160 BB
and today...
+130 BB

I am the most swingy player ever and it's not fun. The last -160 BB and +130 BB was in a 28 hour period.

It depends upon your style of play. If you are very agressive, your swings will be large. If you are a super rock, your awings will be much smaller.

How many table-hours or hands for the -160BB swing?

I play limit, pretty aggressively, and a 100 BB swing is not rare for me. I'm in the midst of one that bottomed out (so far) at close to -100. I've climbed about halfway back out of it this morning. No biggie, just stay the course, change tables if you are in a bad spot, etc...

I think super rock would have one big down swing in 5/10 6 max last forever.

At SH games, 50 BB is a fairly typical swing for me in a night. 100BB swings either way happen fairly regularly for an aggressive SH player. I've had a 100BB swing in 30 minutes. No biggie, unless it upsets/tilts you. If so, you should stick to less swingy games or lower levels.

About 1000, give or take a couple hundred hands.
