Marcel Luske?
 

This guy is always on of my favorite players to watch during the WSOP on ESPN.

Does he just not play in the states the rest of the year? I know he is European based, and I have heard reports of him at some of those events, but does he ever play in the states or on the WPT?

Yes, he played almost all of the events at the Bellagio this past month. He won the first or second one.

I'm pretty sure he plays at most of the WPT events, too.

This is Marcel talking about his being knocked out at the WPT champoinship. Score another one for quality poker journalism, though there is no question cardplayer does a better job than most IMO.

Have you actually seen him in the events? or at least read about how he did?

He was playing in the Australian Poker Millions tournament at Crown casino in Melbourne, January this year.

Someone told me Marcel does a lot of drugs. His sweaty appearance can be explained either by his wearing a suit or opiates. My intent here is neither to start nor spread rumors, I merely want to know if anyone's heard the same.

I think it mentions in The Camel's blog that there are meant to be some juicy rumors about Marcels past, but he doesn't say what they are.
