Raise flop, u want a free card if next flushcard hits (or were u planning on folding if turn was flushcard? to weak?).

Bet turn and if raised fold. Good fold on river, no chance u are ahead.

Don't play 1/2 6 max if you fold so easily with a decent hand and huge pot odds at the river. You will be crashed.

Thanks for your reply.

Your point that it is generally a bad idea to fold for one bet in a big pot with a decent hand in a game that is typically filled with aggressive players is well-taken.

However, let's look at this specific situation. UTG, with an AF of 0.4 after 150 hands, check-raises the river against two opponents who had each already put one bet into the pot. Given that along with the flush and straight possibilities on board, what % of the time do you think my top pair is good here?

Your hand only needs to be good here 1 in 15 times, which it definitely will be. There's just no way that you don't have the odds for this call.

Right, but you don't have to wait until the river to find that out. Raise the flop and you'll find out whether you need to fold earlier, or you can get to a showdown cheaper.

Yeah, I think you and kiddo are probably right on your suggestion to raise the flop.

Are you basically saying there's at least a 1/15 chance that UTG is just being stupid?

Yes, definitely. I play 5/10, so maybe you don't ever see this at 1/2, but you'll see UTG being stupid here way more than 1/15. Although I can't imagine the limit would matter here. You're probably beat the majority of the time, but you can't be 93% sure you're beat here.

I also agree that this has to be raised PF, this is not a board where you can wait for the turn to raise.

I will make this fold agaisnt known opps. in my 5/10 games. I think in the 1/2 there's a greter chance of a guy even with ultra passive stats making a dumb play/being crazy, I'd call the river here, although I don't think the fold is awful. I'd also raise this coordinated flop.
