Ditto. If I'm not mistaken this is your best choice: Dell UltraSharp 2001FP. If you know someone who owns a small company, you can buy it for ~$550.

I got a 23" NEC CRT at Fry's for $170. It does take up some space, but saved a lot of money and has a bigger screen than I would have gotten.

That's a good option too, but the original poster said he was looking for flat panels, so...

The Dell is an amazing monitor. You can get the 2001 or the 2005 which is a cinema display (1680x1050).

If you can wait a day or two, you can find deals on a regular basis to get one of those for $435-475. Check out http://dealnews.com/sections/displaystvs.html

A 19-incher is the standard size screen for 1600x1200 resolution, which is all you need for comfortable four-tabling with no overlap. Any CRT made that size will have at least that resolution, though some truly terrible video cards(like on laptops) won't be able to do a resolution that high.

No: the original poster is asking about Flat Panels. A 19' flat panel's resolution is 1280x1024 dpi. For 1600x1200 you need a 20' flat panel at least.
