Am I the only one who's noticed that Negreanu keeps talking about how much he randomly gives out a lot of money to strangers in his blog? It seems a little too... nonchalant. I think he just write about it for image purposes.

I'm not convinced. His image on and off the table is already really good, so I don't see any motivation for him doing that.

It was reported by Layne Flack,in Cardplayer magazine, that Daniel paid $60,000 for Layne's rehab. Sounds like a good friend, kind person and generous man to me.

I give away a shitload of money to my friends and homeless people when I get the chance. Sharing makes some people feel good inside. Perhaps you don't feel good when you share?

I don't like sharing when its with someone I don't know that's trying to convince me that I should. I prefer to maintain the illusion that I induce my own generosity.
