Headphone suggestions for poker?

Anyone have suggestions for a decent set of headphones that you could use while playing (assuming you are allowed of course). You know.. lightweight, not too bulky, dont completely shut down all outside noise, easy to take on and off etc.

Thanks in advance.

headphone.com take your pick. i like the beyerdynamic dt250-80s as i have a pair. best closed cans you can buy for 200. the top band takes some getting used to but other than that its awesome. since you want these for use at the poker table, open cans are out of the question.

Try the Bang and Olufsen A8 headphones. Either pick them up at a B&O retailer or at ebay. To begin with, they are comfortable and provide excellent sount. Also, depending on how they are placed - they can shut out all other sound or allow you to simply pretend you're not paying attention.

I might not be an expert in other arenas, but concerning headphones take my word on this... buy the B&O A8 headphones. It's worth the cash.

Normally for poker I find the ones that came with my iPod very good for shutting out noise and half listening. My buddy has a pair of Bose headphones that are awesome, but completley block out sound.

I like the earbuds that came with my iPod Shuffle. Sound quality is good enough for my tastes, and the whole unit is wearable. Good stuff.

Thanks for the comments, I'm picking up a pair of Sennheiser PX200's (closed and very portable) for my iRiver for now and I'm getting the Shure E4's when they come out. The Beyer's looked a little better quality-wise but I decided on the Senn's since they are smaller, lighter, less expensive, fold up nice and I wont have to worry as much about beating them up while traveling.

Good pair of ear buds is all you need.

My MP3/WMA player's std. pair works perfectly with the unit, so I didn't have to spend a penny more.

Here's a likely candidate for an example:

With this very good
Response Bandwidth: 6 - 25000 Hz
and look at the reviews and the cost!

I may have to seek those out myself!

Bulky and pricey headphones for me are out of the question, the ear buds I use are basically weightless, quiet to the other players, and removal is beyond easy and doesn't mess up my hair.

Any stock headphones that come with Ipod or any other MP3 player are complete trash. I bought the 20G Ipod mainly just to organise my music. I never listen when I play in the casino, only on-line. The first thing to go was the "stock" Ipod earphones. Invest in some good Bose or some of the others mentioned above.
