There really isn't a situation where you're better than any number of people playing only broadway hands. You're about 62% against a random/suited hand.

I would think, with 2-3 limpers plus the blinds, you could raise the pot in late position and expect to win your fair share.

But I'm an amateur.

Assuming your casino has smaller tables than that, however, the more the merrier with a drawing hand like that.

I definitely favor zero opponents with ATo. Makes it much easier to play.

It appears as if one would want to buy the blinds and hope that no more than 2 players are in. However,with many players in,this seems to be a good drawing hand. I think the worst case would be 3 to 5 players in.

Although ATo is not supposed to do well in multi-way pots, it does well in massively multiway pots when most of your opponents don't have cards, and have to play the board.

In the real world, ATo is worth a lot less than the blinds. In fact, people lose with it on average UTG according to the PokerRoom stats, 0.04 BB/hand at $1-$2 and 0.17 BB/hand at $10-$20. That means on average, people would be better off mucking ATo UTG.
