I like your way, in fact, I'd prefer something like 75-25 and nothing for third. But, some like a flatter 50-30-20.

This might be silly, but we like it.

We enjoy having 2 tourneys in one evening, and therefore we usually just "cash in" the top 2 players. Once we get down to top 2, they count up their chips and "cash in" based on the % of chips each player has. This helps us to get a 2nd tourney in for those who want to stick around.

1st - $60
2nd - $30
3rd - $10
