I need to take flops and raise more.
I am nearing 10k hands at the 1/2 and see that I need some improvement on my VP$IP and PFR stats. These stats have steadly risen since I started playing 1/2 seriously. Recently I noticed my stats are starting to tapper off and became the result of what is seen here. My BB/100 is down after a bad run of cards.

Right now I play a nice tight aggressive game, but feel that my PFR is a tad low. Would a PFR range of 7-10 at the 1/2 level be optimal? I think my AF is lower then what it should be at the 1/2. I understand that my sample size is too low for these kind of questions, but if I can I start improving my play early I won't have to start questioning myself later. |
Re: I need to take flops and raise more.
- My vp is 12.48% as of last night.
- It was 12.41% on Monday. - 30k hands of 1/2 too. - PFR is over 6 though. - I'd be happy with a .41BB/100 right now, so never mind... |

Re: I need to take flops and raise more.
Your postflop aggression numbers look fine. You just need to loosen up preflop, and raise more.
FWIW, after about 6k hands at 1/2, I'm at about 18.5/11. My playing style changed at .5/1, but by the end, I seemed to be about 20.5/12.5 at that level. And Sasnak, those are some really rocky numbers. |
