Probability of a low flop in Omaha

Am I doing this right?

I know a low flop in Omaha is when the flop comes all cards under or equal to 8 (A-8). So there are 9 of each suit, so 9*4 = 36.
So the probability of this happening would be (36/52)*(35/51)*(34/50) correct?
32.2%?

Im ignoring pairs and such.

Your math is correct, but the way you did it flops like 666, AA3, etc. would be considered low by your calculatin, when they aren't really for purposes of how you want to play.

If you wanted the probability of getting three cards from
Ace to 8, with no pairs it would be.

=32/52*28/51*24/50=.243

Cobra can you explain those numbers?

Why do you start at 32 instead of 36? And if you do that, why not 33?

It was supposed to be 36/52*32/51*28/50=.243 its the same answer I just typed it wrong. You can pick any card out of the 36 for the first card but after that you need to eliminate the remaining three cards of that rank. So your second card is picked out of the remaining eight ranks or 32 cards, etc.

If you know combinations it could be answered as follows:

= (9 c 3)*4*4*4/(52 c 3)=.243

That is choose three seperate ranks out of 9, choose one card out of four for each of those ranks (4 raised 3), and divide by the total ways to choose 3 cards out of 52.

Correction!

I just noticed there is only eight ranks between A and 8. This makes the probability.

=32/52*28/51*24/50=.162
