uninstalling sites

most of us probably belong to 10 or more poker sites.
does having all of them installed slow down the computer much?
do you uninstall those that you dont play often or does it really not make much difference?

Re: uninstalling sites

I uninstall the sites that I am not accessing (the software gets old anyway) and then use a registry cleaner (not recommended if you do not know what you are doing) to clean up any entries that are left behind. I also delete the files from the program files folder.

Software that is not launched should not be using any CPU unless there is something that is installed at startup. You can look at Windows Manager (ctl-alt-del) to see what is running and if any applicaiton and/or process that you do not want running is using up CPU (just click on the CPU tab) and it will sort processes by CPU utilization.

If there is anything strange going on, just post it here, and I will see if I can provide any further info.

None of the softwares, at least that I know of, don't really take up much disk space. If you're not running them, they won't use up computer resources.

Now if you have gigs of porn on your computer to where your available hdd space is like 100mb, then you have to worry about your porn slowing down your computer.
