Check call down AA on scary board?

Should I have put in a bet/raise here anywhere? Maybe even a fold?

Opponent is pretty aggressive but nothing too remarkable.

I like your raise, kinda looks like an attempt to steal, but not really, good stuff.

When you checked the flop were you scared of the flop or were you trying to check raise/trap him?

If his raises were smaller I woulda maybe tried to check raise him maybe on the turn and see where I was at. If he re raised me all-in I would fold if just called I would think he was on some kind of draw. He's throwing some heavy firepower out there which makes check raising to see where your at not very practical imo.

I probly would have bet the flop, its scary that its all paint, but its probly just as scary for him I put him on some pocket pair or A/K of course pocket kings/queens/jacks are scary but if he re raises you have a pretty good Idea of what he has.

His bets were good, I would have put him on a busted draw when he didn't go all-in on the turn.

Checking and calling is my play once past the flop, I would have bet say 800 on the flop. Nice but easy for me to get away from if he re raises me way more (4000+). I would wager that if you make the bet on the flop it slows down his bets as well. Its a hard case tho, hard to get away from pocket aces

I do not like this play much form either party other than the 10's have more outs and is the agressor in the hand post flop.

Your decision is on the flop if you think your Aces are good raise enough to frighten your opponnent and commit yourself to the pot otherwise muck it.

The irony of this hand was that if either of you had made a set it would have given the other a straight. I think you pay him in these circumstances and likely he pays you.

gotta fear that two pair

why would I do that? A bet only folds out 99% of worst hands and gets raised by better hands. I can just check call down and let him bluff at it, it's pretty unlikely he has many outs.
