Nut flush, paired board

$4-$8 B&M at Muckleshoot. Very LP table, except for BB, who is LAG preflop but pretty passive after the flop.

Hero is CO with Kd5d

UTG calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB raises, everyone calls.

Flop (6 players, 6 BB): As 3d 7d
Everyone checks to Hero, who bets, everyone calls except button, who folds.

Turn (5 players, 8.5 BB): Tc
Everyone checks.

I guess I was afraid to bet for value, because they all need to call. Bad?

River (5 players, 8.5 BB): Ad
SB bets, BB calls, 2 folds, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, BB folds, Hero caps, SB calls.

2 questions:

Should I fold preflop?
Did I play the river correctly?

PF it's a fold

Postflop No point betting the turn, take the free card. I think I cap the river with the nut flush as long as he can't reraise. (i.e. like in vegas with 4 raises)

Fold PF. Tough to cap the river when a "passive" player wakes up and 3 bets.

PF: I see nothing wrong with limping a loose game in the CO with that hand.

River: I just call the 3 bet.

I agree with both of these points.

Since your play of this hand all but telegraphs that you had a flush draw that came in on the river, do you really think that SB is 3-betting with a naked ace more than 50% of the time? What seems more likely is that he whiffed on his turn checkraise.

I would make the crying call and expect to be shown a boat.

Very LP table, except for BB, who is LAG

Capping would be bad I agree.
