BB check, UTG bet, MP1 raise, MP3 fold, Hero 3-bet, BB fold, MP1 call, MP3 call

Turn 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players / 9.5 BB)
All check to Hero, Hero bet, all call

Question: is this bet for value in the long run? Any other comments on play?

UTG seems to have disappeared from your flop action. Did he run away screaming after your 3-bet?

This hand is absolutely standard. I'm guessing from the tone of your post that you lost to a passively played flush.

UTG has Q5 of spades. He give raise back. Thats all.
It's Ok, but I'm not sure if it was bet for value. 2 week ago I'd surely checked this river. Best play?

Checking this river would be horribly bad given that you have top set and been shown zero aggression on the turn.

This is a very easy river bet. You're good nearly all the time and there are loads of worse hands they'll call with.

Checking here would be really bad. Bet this river with hands like AK AQ or AJ also.
