My notes on the villian: Not that good of a player, on the fishy side. Called my check/raise on the turn before, with a gutshot draw, and called large bet on a river before with bottom pair when he missed gutshot. Q7 btw.

Whats my move?

looks like a pretty clear push to me. getting all-in for 20x with AKs isn't terrible against an unknown and it sounds from your read like he could be splashing around with AJo or something.

A push might get a call from AQ. Otherwise picking up the pot right here seems fine to me.

If he's a fishy player, I think you gotta put him all in. Should you lose, you're still above average stack with low blinds.... so, push

This seems like a standard push situation, but im not so sure. I kind of like folding and keep your 7100, still 4000 more than average. I want to play against this guy postflop, not preflop. Postflop he calls you with gutshots and bottom pair, exactly what you want him to do. I probably would have mindlessly pushed and hoped for the best, but if you fold and leave it behind you youre still the table leader and in a great spot to continue on strong in the tournament. I was watching (although not in my best state =]) so i know what you did, looking forward to hearing why.

Fish note makes it clear
Slick too good to lay down here
Push and be happy

From your description it seems the fishy player may tend to be more of a caller. In that case his reraise may be a very good hand.

You can still cansider pushing here, but with double the ave stack and the table lead a strong case can be made for folding.

Good post...

Against a clueless player I think it's an easy call. He'll have weaker aces and KQ enough of the time to probably turn this profitable. I'd say you're about 60% to win against the hands he's likely to hold: AA-TT AK-AJ and KQ.

Against a good player this would be hitting the muck very quickly.

I think it's a push for sure, especially out of position.

I'll post the results and my though process after I get some more responses. Since this is a situation that comes up often in multi tables, it might be good to discuss about it.
